Early on hit.

This song was the first by you that I felt was truly "Jumpy". The melody has stuck with me so long.

The moogish synth was an instant show-stealer. It really made the song sound like it could be in a club. The arp was cool too.

This was so fresh, I hope you make another fresh hit soon. Your Reduco Ex Nihilum and Quick Fix songs also had that "Fresh" vibe.

Less popular one of yours, but great nonetheless.

The reverb you used in this song and the subtle orchestral melodies were really good. I can easily imagine this being in some kind of RPG.

It could even make good credits music for a variety of adventure movies, lol.

I don't really like this one for some reason

Cool redux bro.

Same vibe, but with a different orchestral approach as the other one. Still has that "Pirates of the Caribbean" vibe.

Drumrolls were a nice addition to this.

The classic.

I'm not super into classical music, but I like this song because it reminds me of the past and the book you wrote and rewrote.

The chords in this are pretty nice, almost gives me that "Pirates of the Caribbean" vibe. That was my very first impression of it.

One of the best.

The synths in this are really cool and have that powerful edge to them, but don't sound harshly powerful (Think PWM).

My favorite parts in this song would have to be 0:29 and 1:51 because of the combination of the higher synths with the lower ones.

This song is really damn catchy, though. Makes me think of inner city lights getting dimmer and brighter as someone drives through the city.

As much as I like to joke about the part at 3:21 and 4:15 sounding like kids with straws, it's a good transitional pattern in the song.

Also, if you skip to the end and listen to it loop, it's practically seamless. It's like a song/loop hybrid. If I wasn't paying attention I may have listened to the song twice. Definitely another good aspect in this song to me as I can let it repeat if I'm busy and not get annoyed with any cuts in-between.

thanks bro.

The Tank has glowsticks now.

This is really nice though. You should port it to your 360 so you can play it while the Tank is approaching. Damn tanks.

Next up: Rave Witch? lol

BudGPStudios responds:

That'd be kinda hard to do lol

I love this loop.

The chords in this and the bass just give me that sort of Gran Turismo vibe like Scath said... I just really dig this and think I'll use it for the power of 3 project I'm making.

Please make more like this in the future.

putzpie responds:

Great, I'd love to see it used in more submissions. I'm definately working on more like this one.

Cool Vibe.

heard this in the dream collab, it just has this cool vibe to it that's hard to describe. I like the mix of the guitar pluck and the electro bass. I wished there was more of it, it ended kind of short for me, but at least that tells you I liked it :p

Keep doing this. i'd like to hear what else you can do.

Holy Shit

This is pumpin'. It deserves a little more acclaim than what it's gotten. So oldskool, I love it.

Pretty Good.

You don't seem too confident about this loop, and you probably don't expect a big review, but here you go:

It's really simple, and I won't bug you about that because you already said that in the comments.

However, I kind of like this loop because it sounds like menu music. I think if you added a little more depth to it and for whatever reason I was making a menu for a game or something, I would use this song.

The notes tied together well though, and I think the most important thing to being a musician is knowing how melodies and harmonies add to the atmosphere of the song.

The bass and the bells with the almost simple drum beat in the background just make this loop very chill, and relaxing. If you have ever played Crash Bandicoot 2, and The Sims, you would agree that there are elements to the music of both of these games present in this loop.

Nice job.

spikel responds:

Hey, thanks man. No I didn't expect a big review at all! This was very helpful though and yes, the song is very incomplete. It's just I've had a bit of a writer's block for awhile now and I haven't been able to make anything good. I wanted to release something so I came up with this. Will definitely work on it and make it fuller and better.

It's been a while. There's a lot of my content on here that I'm not happy with, though it sure does give a lot of perspective on how my skills have developed.
